Hi folks,
Just joined CF. New owner of a Bayliner Buccaneer 240 sailboat (1976). I live in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada.

This is my 1st summer and now 1st winter owning a sailboat. Been reading posts for a year now...this site and all the contributors; THANK-YOU...sure helped me ramping up my knowledge of sailing and sailboat purchase and ongoing ownership.

I look forward to further learnings and acquiring the expertise to become a real "sailor".

Welcome Peter. Quite a few of us Canucks hanging out here. And lots of knowledgable cruisers.

Boat is in Newfoundland, but I happen to be wintering in the Okanagan right now. Beautiful place. Must be fun sailing these lakes … lots of tacking I guess .
