Hi Connie.. Welcome to CF..
You should fit in nicely here.. there's quite a few solo sailing ladies here and an active (I believe) female members sub forum called Mermaids.. or something like that.

Howdy Connie, and Welcome Aboard CF!

I second the suggestion to the Mermaids group (it has hundreds of women members of CF in it). Here is its description:

"WELCOME TO THE MERMAIDS GROUP | This group is for women sailors, single handers, and boat owners to share ideas and experiences. Mermaids are an independent lot so figured it would be a good name for a group made up of women who love the water, sailing, and adventure. After joining please post a quick hello in the Welcome thread."
_________

Also, there is another group on Facebook known as "Women Who Sail" that would probably be interesting to you.

Good luck, have fun sailing, and on CF too.

Welcome aboard CF, Connie.

How I got to the Mermaids this morning was to click on Community (near the top of the page),and then on "lifestyle", and it appeared part way down the list.

Hey Connie! I'm new to the forum too! Just turned in my paperwork to get my 100 ton and pretty stoked about it. Good luck on your endeavor!

Welcome to CF, Connie! Always great to have another female skipper's perspective here. It keeps things sane 😁
