New Kid on the Dock

I just found and joined the forum. I'm a liveaboard on the Fraser river, Richmond,BC. My boat is an '82 Cooper 508 cutter. I've had her 11/2 years. Brought her up from Ventura CA. New to big boats and sailing but grew up in small boats. Love the water & travel, hope to take her to blue water in a few years. Meanwhile in the steep part of the learning curve and this forum will help that a lot. First Q is anyone familiar with the old EZE furl behind mast furlers and "tuning" them to not jam?

Thanks for the aloha. Heading out to cruise our Gulf islands tomorrow. Got some good info from old posts re tuning main furlers so should be able to get it right.

This is indeed a great place. There is terrfic information here. If it were me, I would take your post an put it under that most approriate category. I'd be suprised if some one did not respond, or at least, give a bearing. Cheers.

Welcome Gunboat, have fun cruising the Frazier and the San Juans. Make a point to hit a lot of the small harbors on the east side of Vancouver Island. Lots of great people in those harbors. Enjoy CF.
