New in town in the Chesapeake!

Hey folks! I've finally registered so I can mine the wealth of knowledge on these boards as my boyfriend and I fix up a 1972 Columbia 30'. I'm not much of a sailor yet, but I fully intend to learn how so we can lead a life rife with cruising! Even though I'm unfamiliar with the mechanics of sailing, I have spent a good deal of time aboard! I worked with two dear friends on the documentary One Simple Question (coming soon) and was their camera woman for a month while we sailed from northern Newfoundland to Maine. I was too busy fiddling with filming equipment to learn much, but my time on the Lyle Hess Bristol Channel Cutter was just amazing!

Anyway, I thought I would drop a line and introduce myself before peppering you folks with questions.

Cheers!
