New Here but Old Everywhere Else !

G'day - I have already enjoyed reading many of the forum postings. I do tend to be more of a lurking reader but will pipe up if I can lend a hand. About 30 years of sailing on lakes & blue water. My ships (yep, there's 2)are a Boden Helena 36' steel cutter rigged ketch with a 52hp Perkins 4108 & a 25' MacGregor swing keel. Sailing mates have always called me Duderboy

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Good to have you here. 4-108 is a great engine but would have to be turning a lot of rpms to make 52 hp. I used to run my 4-107 at around 2200 at the most so was figuring I might be getting about 30 hp out of it.
kind regards,
