New Guy at the Dock

Ahoy!
I'm sittin here on the Eastwind, tied up in Orcas Island, trying to keep from freezing!
It can't make up it's mind between too much wind, rain or snow!
Head for Mexico you say? But I just bought a new snow machine!
Why are you sitting on your boat, you ask?
Well, a week ago I was at my ranch without enough snow to play with my new Artic Cat, so I thought I'd go see how the old girl floats - quite well, thank you! Hardly leaks a drop after 70 years.
I guess I'll pretend I'm anchored in Redfish Bay off Baranoff Island, build myself another hot buttered rum and enjoy the rest of the day!
Adios Amigos!

Aloha and welcome aboard!
It's been exceptionally cold here the last few nights too. Got down to 60 a few nights in a row and was even 54 one night. Had to get a fire going in the fireplace. Anyway, it does get up to mid 70s during the day.
kind regards,

Wow....new Arctic Cat....that"s what I'm talking about!
Welcome to the dock Duck.
We need to know way more about that 70 year old boat of yours.
How about after the hot buttered rum, put a jacket on and snap us a couple pics of the ole' girl.

Howdy Geoduck. It has been cold here too, in fact the temperature has dropped so much I have stopped sweating. That's better than average for this time of year where this time of day I don't use the 'puter room as worse than a sauna. I'll go and put my hand in the freezer a bit just to get some idea of what you are experiencing.
