Hello, I'm a new guy, and very interested in sailing. I recently purchased a sail boat and don't no much about sailing.

Aloha and welcome aboard!
I always recommend the book "Start Sailing Right!" It's a good basic sailing book. A basic sailing course is always a good idea.
