Hello everyone! I’ve caught the sailing bug about 6 months ago and am now researching like crazy. I honestly can’t stop thinking about it. It’s the perfect time in my life because I’ve just been stuck in the daily grind working as Paramedic and now RN. I am going to buy a monohull next year and plan to sail from Oregon coast down to Catalina and then Mexico. Gain sailing experience before eventually crossing the Pacific to French Polynesia. So research, research, research is what I’ve been doing and loving it! Just got my boating license and passport lol yes I gotta start with the baby steps. Probably take the ASA 101,103,104 courses this summer to start my sailing experience.

Been there, done that...I had the same dream and followed thru with it. I have no problem sharing the lessons and experiences I gained with you if you'd like. Sailed across the equator twice, spent two years in French Polynesia, a year in Hawaii and recently returned from an additional 6 years in Mexico.
