Hi to all cruisers; My name is Rene Amyot and my wife's name is Eva Wetzstein. We hail from Edmonton, Alberta,Canada but as retirees we are now cruisers. Our boat, a Hunter 45CC named BABEEZE ( babe-ease ) is also our home. Currently located in Mazatlan ( El Cid Marina ) for the winter season, she awaits our return, this month. After we re-assemble and paint her bottom we intend to continue exploring the Sea of Cortez. We love the lifestyle (most times) and are anxious to hook up with the many friends we've made and look forward to meeting many more. Sincerly Rene & Eva.

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Rene & Eva.
Do you plan on continuing to summer in Canada, and only winter aboard "BABEEZE"?

Hi to all; A quick response to all who read my thread. Our long term plan is very flexable and depends on many factors. The need to return to Canada for medical and family reasons is paramont but we may cut the cord and do the Canal. My wife Eva publishes a blog, with photos if anyone is interested. Send email address as well as full names to evawetzstein@gmail.com and Eva will send you a link. As to how I like the Hunter, my answer would fill a book. In a nutshell its a love hate relationship. I've made many mods which increase the live and sailability and could discuss them in depth on another forum ( with photos ).
