New cruiser/dreamer from Texas

Wanted to say hello and introduce myself after lurking here for a while! I have learned so much by reading CF regularly the past few months.

I am an early retiree with over 20 years sailing experience crewing for friends, racing, and chartering (uh oh, please don't group me with those RUDE charterers!). My experience is mostly Bay sailing but also 2000 mi offshore: Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic, Pacific; and vacation sailtrips to Caribbean, Greece, Norway.

Seeking more water sailing">blue water sailing experience and cruising knowledge. I have already learned lots from you all.

Thanks!
Janet

Re: New cruiser/dreamer from Texas

Welcome Janet.

So far, this has been a great place to look and learn. And, mostly friendly. I wish you success and safe journeys out in the ocean.

If you need crew let me know. (I am at best a novice, and there are days I couldn't find my butt with both hands. I do, however, learn quickly, and generally do not make the same mistake twice. Not counting grammar and punctuation)
