Talking New but Old, Looking Forward to Casting Off

Good day/evening to you all.

For those of you already out there, I'm green with envy. For those of you like me that haven't yet done anything more than Overnights, Hi Ya, good to meet ya! For those of you without a boat and looking into this. All I have to say is... What's holding you back??? Get out there!

I'm keeping my SJ23 build in 1988 (last one ever), I love it and will never let it go. But I am looking for a 32' double ender to begin my "Travels". I have time and will choose one that fits me as well as my SJ23 has, just more room. I really need to be able to stand inside if I'm to consider it "Cruising".

To all fair winds and Cheers

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you are ready to join the leisure class. Good luck in the boat search.

Aloha and welcome aboard!
I've heard the San Juans are pretty well built boats. Double enders are ok. You loose a lot of interior space and buoyancy near the stern with their design. Everything is a trade off.
Kind regards,

Excellent... Welcome and good luck with your "Mission"... may it begin sooner rather than later... and at a bargain price to boot.
