Moloweni, Greetings From South Africa:

Hi,

I have just qualified as a high school teacher, my country however, does not seem to appreciate teachers as I am at home unemployed when there are schools nationwide desperate for teachers. There is a school 500m from my home that is in need of 11 teachers, class sizes are in the excess of 50 pupils per class.

So I have decide to seek work elsewhere in the world and persue my dream of being a fulltime live aboard. I will scoure the forums for information, however, if anyone can direct me somewhat in my search it would be much appreciated.

I am searching for a place in the world were I can work on shore, and live on the ocean. I am sure some places are better than others and at this stage I can go wherever I want.

I am excited to meet the people on this forum and learn from their collective knowledge.

Nic

Welcome to the Forum. As regards work, depending on what experience you have or don't have will depend on work possibilities. It is not easy at the moment, here in SA or abroad.

Good luck.

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Good to have you posting here. Many frustrated teachers in the US as well but it'd probably be easier to find a job once you've met all the credential requirements and gotten the proper immigration things done.
kind regards,
