looking for basic training.

not sure if meet and greets is appropriate for this if not delete or move thank you.

San Francisco bay area.

It has been a long time since i have visited, been a long time since i have sailed.

I had the opportunity to purchase a beautiful little keelboat from the original owner so i jumped on it.

it is a compac 16. in amazing shape. i am updating the lines and everything else appears to be solid. i am looking for some one that may be able to go over the boat with me and maybe go out for a few ours and catch me up to speed. i can pay. recommendations would be great. looking to use my boat ill eventually get back out and take some classes. but for the time being just going to figure it out.

If it works out it works out! let me know thank you

Re: looking for basic training.

There should be a lot of takers. If all else fails, go to a yacht club. I'm sure they would be glad to help you and probably not necessary to join up.
