Looking for a Boat Trip from India to . . . ?

Hallo

I'm Frank Jezewski from Germany. I'm staying in South India for a long holyday. In Cochin Harbour I got the idear that I like to go for a long sailing trip.
I have been sailing many times in the Nederland on the Ijselmeer and the Northsea. My job is plumber and I'm good in mechanic and I have tools with me.I'm forty years old.
Please write me when you are looking for someone.

Frank

Servus, Frank.

Welcome to the Cruiser’s Forum, which I have also only recently discovered. It doesn’t look like you have many takers at the moment, presumably because so few of the members here sail past India on a regular basis.

Yet, there is hope. If you extend your vacation, perhaps in a couple of years when I pass by from Malaysia on my way to Europe, you can give me a shout and we’ll pick you up. So lean back, have a few beers and take it easy. The day will come.

What kind of ships were you sailing on back home?

Hi Frank,

viele Gruesse aus Pune, Indien.
you might havemuch better chances if you are willing to depart from Sri Lanka.
The inrastructure for boats is not that promising here in India, so many people just pass by Sri Lanka.

I was looking for a "marina" for my cat in the Bombay area, but not able to find anything which seemed to be OK.

I started my sailing in the Ijsselmeer too, where my boat was located in Lelystad.

Regards from Pune
