Long way from home

Hello everyone, I am Patrick Booth and my wife is Ellen. I am from South Africa, Ellen from Chicago.
We live on our Defever 44 in the Sea of Cortez. We just moved from a Bruce Roberts 40 to a trawler as Ellen has a problem with arthritis in her wrists, and can no longer handle the lines.
We dreaded going to the 'Dark Side', a veritable stink pot, but now that we are here, really love it.
m/v Maitairoa. The name means Big Drink! Can't go wrong there.

Re: Long way from home

Nice meeting you, Patrick and Ellen:

Welcome aboard CF.

Be sure to use the "Contact Us" button at the bottom of the page if you have difficulty navigating the site. Do use the CF Google Custom Search, in the menu under the Search button when you want to research something.

The Golfo de California is a lovely place to sail, swim, and fish.

Ann
