Hi, To all from Australia. we have just purchased our boat in Croatia and will be setting sail on August 6th, 2020.
This has been my dream and now it's materialising!
We have never sailed in the Med before, only in Australian waters, so it will be so different, absorbing all the inlets and history Europe brings.
We have spend quite some time in Italy, renovating historic buildings, on and off for the last 15 years.
If anyone has anything to offer in the way of initial guidence it will be appreciated.
We are also looking for a 5 hp motor for our tender, if anyone knows of a decent runner.

Walking down the dock one day when I was in Mexico, another cruiser walking towards me from the other direction. He was dirty and sweaty and carrying parts.
Me- "How you doing?"
Reply-"just living the dream here."
