pirate Lifeguard Gone Sailor

Hey everyone my name is Chris and I am new to sailing and all this lingo but soon to be an educated youngster. I am 20 years old and have alot of living to do and I thought why not do it on a Sailboat. My friend Phillip took me out on a little 420 sailboat and sunfish last summer and it was a blast. I also when out on his 17' catamaran and after that I knew I was hooked. I plan on becoming a liveaboard/cruiser when I move out of my mom's house. So until that time people feel free to give me all the advice and knowledge you guys posses
