Klepper Sailing the Florida Keys

In a 17 Klepper Kayak I am about to sail from Key West Florida to the Marqueses and Dry Tortugas.

I have been living aboard the boat and sailing the outback from Cudjoe Key to here, to Sombrero Reef near Marathon and north area of Big Pine.

This next leg is about 70 miles which I plan to sail over 3-8 week period. Lots of places to explore in areas where the water is more the 6-24 inches deep. A 30 mile stretch is deep ocean.

I very comfortably sleep aboard the boat.

Re: Klepper Sailing the Florida Keys

Wow! But then, why not? A bloke in a Klepper crossed the Atlantic, after all. If your seamanship is up to the task, what an accomplishment. Are you blogging your adventures?
