JUST GONNA WADE IN

Ahoy! New as you can see but eager to meet and greet. Just bought a project Dorsett Farallon, 1959, 22". Had a Chris Craft Cabin Cruiser that was 2 feet longer but not as clever. She was a looker but didn't have the lines the Dorsett Cabin Cruiser has. I will be working on her for some time to come and will take her out for her first dance sometime next year. She has an ancient 1000 Mercury outboard (plan on installing dual 1000 mercury outboards) and a nice little cabin (enclosed head, galley with fridge and stove top, forward berths for four and forward locker with space for gear and sundries storage) but man does she need a lot of work. Sat for 30 years in a field with zero love and I will need all the help I can get in getting her back to her glory. Much fiberglass work and interior restoration. If I can, I would like to post pics as I go for input from everybody. Well, thanks for having me and I look forward to a good relationship herein. PS: If you're wondering, I have good carpentry skills and some fiberglass knowledge from working on recreational vehicles and the like but I am no master of either trade.

Re: JUST GONNA WADE IN/Posting New Queries

So, do I just stay on this section to continue posting questions and so forth or do I proceed to another avenue?

Now that's a nice looking boat. Would love to see more pictures as you progress.
