just another noob

HI, my name is jeff I'm 31 married w/child and live in the Pacific Northwest. I don't know why but I've decided it's time to learn how to sail. I really know very little about sailing so any input is always welcome.
Thanks!!

Most important fact, is that sailing is not really a hobby, but more a cross between a way of life and an attitude of the mind!

Thanks for the welcome! I hope to purchase my first small sailboat soon hopefully I'll be addicted and understand why you all seem so passionate about sailing.

Welcome aboard from Port Gardner (Everett).

Sailing is just plain romantic to men and scary to (most) woman. So if you take her out be patient and understanding. The kids will love it for short trips......................................._/)

Thanks,
I did just buy a sailboat, it's a Coronado 15. I would love to sail to Hawaii but not on this boat.
