Joining the Forum from Crack-town, I mean Toronto
Sailors,
That was a reference to the Mayor Ford scandal, that has so embarrassed my city internationally. In any event, I thought it high time (no pun intended) that I sign on to this very active, helpful and useful forum. I sail on Lake Ontario, out of Toronto. The boat is on the hard now for the winter, so time to turn my mind to boat improvements and such. I've got some questions burning in the back of my mind which I plan to post shortly, now that I'm on board this forum.
My boat is a 1977 Northern 29. I am interested in hearing from other owners of the same make or model. My engine is the original Atomic 4, still working after all these years (God bless it).
Cheers,

Smoking crack does not necessarily make you a bad person.

Gregoy, move to Vancouver. The Pacific makes for fantastic sailing, you can sail year round, and our Mayor, well...he's kind of embarrassing too.

Welcome to CF, great intro, late night TV has put Toronto on the map. Vancouver does have better sailing though.

From our United States capital city. I feel for you.
Guess I would check the carb really well.
Then I would deny everything. Even monica. I don't know that girl. At least our convict council man is paying for sex even though he still owes taxes.

Welcome Greg, always nice to see another Great Lakes sailor on board. We're up on Superior, but will be heading down to Lake Ontario next season.
I looked seriously at a Northern 29 (and then a Northern 37). Love the 29. It was just a little too small for our needs. But great looking boats. And the A-4 is a great engine. Also had one on our previous boat (Grampian 34) for years.
Anyway, welcome. Hope to cross wakes next year.

Aloha and welcome aboard!
I know how hard it is to keep politics out of our conversations since it is the stuff that runs and ruins our lives.
Comparatively speaking, "That's nothing!"
