It's Sailtime !

Greetings everyone,

My first-mate and I recently completed ASA 101/103 on western Lake Erie. This was an awesome experience and we learned more than expected.

We are both looking forward gaining experience in the cruising world as we plan to retire from military service in 4-5 years.

After sailing our 15 foot dinghy for a couple of years now it's time to move up to the 25 foot range on our way to a full time liveaboard-cruiser.

In our search, we are developing a list of requirments we think are essential to finding a good match for us and a vessle we will love and care for.

Many forums and posts have been helpful with shared experience and insight from some honest people. We are thankful for everyone's input.

We hope to make friends and see some of you as we travel.

Congrats on moving forward on your plans and dreams. You are a step or two ahead of me, so even at this stage you are inspiring other newbies!

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Thanks for your service.
There is a very pretty Kent Ranger 26 advertised here in the forum in the classified section. That would be a good one to compare.
regards,
