Wink Isle of Wight Greetings from a Newbie

Hello shipmates, actually we are currently boatless.
I ran a Charter Company in Tortola BVI's but am now back on the Isle of Wight until going out to SE Asia in the hope of buying a Sailing Cat'.
All of my previous boats have been mono hulls and while I like an uncluttered flush deck (I lived aboard one for over 2 years), for living in the Tropics I like the space a Cat can offer and as we have don't plan any more ocean passages flipping over is not such an issue. I also like the idea of having a galley in the main saloon instead of having to go below like a mole...Visited the Southampton Boat Show last Saturday, boy there are certainly some beauties on the market but some are hellishly expensive.

Anyway, Cheers and Smooth Sailing.

How did you like running the charter company?
