Introduction new to forum

Greetings all!
I'm approaching retirement, and have been training/classes, chartering, thinking and researching for a while now about coastal cruising and possible passage making/circumnavigation. I currently live in NW US.

I'm eager to learn from the experienced folks here, looking forward to meeting/getting to know everyone virtually here!

Welcome.

Do you already have the boat or are you looking.

I am a member of a sailing club in Oregon, and have been actively chartering up to 45' sailboats now in the NW and Mexico. I do not own. I am not planning a purchase at this time, probably still 2 years out or so. Gaining ASA certs and logging hours, considering boat system schools for maintenance and a liveaboard for captain license down the road.

For now, learning and researching. Thanks for the welcome!
