Greetings from the North West UK where the
weather is living up to expectations and everyone is suffering from flu. I share an ancient Moody 46 with my two other geriatric co-owners and keep the
boat in a small marina/boatyard called Glasson
Dock near Lancaster in the north of
England. Its' a beautiful spot, five miles up the River Lune, but when you draw two metres you have to pick your moment to go to sea.
Colletively we have a fair amount of experience including the
Med and the French canals. Now, as age creeps up on us, we tend to sail the West of
Scotland making a couple of trips per year of about 6weeks duration.
Looking forward to sharing experiences on the Forum.
