Introducing myself

Hi folks, I hope everyone is doing well.
My name is Cristiano and I am from Pisa (Italy).
I have a small sailing experience and I wish to learn from other sailors expertise.
"Buon vento" we are used to say in Italian.

Re: Introducing myself

Buongiorno Cristiano and welcome to the forum.

You have come to the right place to learn more about sailing. I've been sailing over 40 years and still learn new things on this forum all the time.

I read a comment on this forum once that said something like you can learn the basics of sailing a boat in a day then spend the rest of your life learning more. I certainly feel that way.

Re: Introducing myself

By the way, visited Pisa a couple of years back. Lovely town.

Instead of taking the same dumb tourist photo holding up the leaning tower I just decided to fix the problem.

Well done Skipmac, this is a case where for the same issue there are several points of view to resolve it

I hope you enjoyed your stay in Pisa.

Re: Introducing myself

Welcome.

I would suggest updating your profile with your general location and your boat make & model or “Looking” in the "Boat" category. This info shows up under your UserName in every post in the web view. Many questions are boat and/or location dependent and having these tidbits under your UserName saves answering those questions repeatedly. If you need help setting up your profile then click on this link: https://www.cruisersforum.com/forums...ml#post3308797

If you need further help let me know, I would be happy to.
