Information needed

Hello everyone. My spouse and I are from Nova Scotia. Lol we are so new to sailing we are yet to get on a sailboat. Well I have been on a day cruise with the Marr 11 like 20 years ago. That was a while ago so it will be nice to get out and do some sailing again. Our plans are to work for a year and sail for a year. We are now just starting our journey on finding a sailboat. We now know we want a catamaran.... 40 ft ish. We have located an Athena 38 and we are looking to get as much info on what goes wrong with them as possible. If you have any info pls feel free to share. Thank you all.

I'd suggest finding out about all the nice things about an Athena or whatever boat you decide to go ahead with at this early stage. There's much more fun dreaming about good things and the experiences you'll gain than spending energy pondering on things that might break down.

Thanks but we need to make sure our bluewater boat is ok for ocean crossing. All problems need to be addressed before a long voyage. I don't do things willie nillie.
