In the building stages yet

My husband and I are in Port Angeles, WA and hope to have our sailboat ready to put in the water this summer in time to make it to Baja for the winter. With no experience on my part, I'm on a real learning curve and have quite a 'to do' list ahead of me.

I've been reading the forum already and sure appreciate all the questions and feedback. Am looking forward to all the help we can get.

Hi John

Thanks for the welcome !

Our boat is one of George Beuhler's - the 28' Hagar of the North...a double ended, gaff rigged cutter..so I'm told.

So much to do, but the journey is enlightening and the thought of sailing is so inviting.

Was your boat advertised in Port Townsend for sale? I sailed on a Beuhler "Juno" a couple of times and she handled extremely well. It was not gaff rigged but I'm certain it has many things in common with your boat. My friend built her in the jungle while he was living off the grid. Very interesting construction.
Kind Regards,
JohnL
