I'm new to the Cruisers Forum!
Hi Cruisers Forum!
My husband and I live in Seattle, WA and co-own a J105 there. We recently bought a Caliber 40 in Virginia and are headed to Antigua with the Salty Dawg Rally next week! We plan to sail through the Caribbean for the next 6 - 9 months. I'm excited to join this community of cruisers, learn more about the cruising lifestyle, and have a place to ask about best practices, tips and tricks, and make some new friends!

Welcome to the forum, Runaway. I suspect that you'll have a lot to contribute.

Bula from Fiji Mo.
Hoping that you'll gain help and useful information from the forum and benefit from being involved.
Also feel free to post your own thoughts, questions and ideas. The forum only works when people post, and 95% of members here seem reluctant. Don't be a lurker.

Re: I'm new to the Cruisers Forum!
Welcome Runaway Mo!
i love stories like this, when people take life by the horns and just do it!!! please keep us posted as to your progress and adventures.
also know that there are wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable folks on here who can help you figure out how to fix it, or at least try... personally, i cannot thank folks on here enough for helping find the best solutions for a myriad of issues (bad fuel/fuel tank replacement/changing of the alt belt) last summer. the CF folks really saved the delivery i was on.
Runaway, please do all you can to make each day count and to embrace the freedom you feel when sailing, when on the water. i am in lockdown here (cold and rainy out), on land (bummer!), and am becoming an economy junkie... oh dear...
in any case, welcome aboard!
