Ice-Bound Canuck

Hi All

New member here from Ontario. I've gained LOADS of useful info on here and thought it was time to be polite and join eh!

Cruiser? Stretching the definition a bit, I own a Wayfarer (Islander) 29.
She's big enough for the Great Lakes, shallow enough to get close to the islands and easily managed solo.

I'll get on here and look around as much as I can, but a chat junky I am not.

Fair winds and an early thaw for those North of the freeze line.

Paul

Hi Banzai and welcome to the forum. I used to sail out of Dutchman's Cove and then Wye Heritage, back in the 80's and early 90's. Gerorgian Bay is still the best fresh-water cruising ground in the world, in my opinion.

Cheers!

Welcome to CF!

I personally can't wait until the ice goes and we can get back on the lake. I figure I have less than 60 days until first splash. That says a lot seeing that we didn't get above zero degrees F here today.

Welcome aboard!
