I Have Posted Some Photos of Our New Boat

My wife and I had a seriously great time on our first cruise beginning on 1.1.2010 We covered over 800km and got up to 14.7knots. We are planning to sail to Harvey Bay/ Fraser Island next winter (July) . I have just started building the centerboard. Lots of little jobs to finish off before everything is ship-shape. My mast and sails (except the main) are all secondhand. The boat cost $500 as an unfinished project. Alan & Mardi

Aloha Alan,
The underbody of your boat looks very similar to our club's Wharram 23. I've not sailed on a larger version but the one we have is really a stable little boat. Congratulations
regards,

Thanks John, yes the Wharram is a great boat for people who just like sailing. It may not be the flashest most modern design, but it is seaworthy, robust and affordable. What more does a real sailor need? Alan
