I have about ten boats and still looking at boats for sale.
I Desperately need help!
Think the last one may be more than I can chew all at once to use a food analogy.

Re: I CONFESS IM A BOATAHOLIC
We are back down to 2 from 6. One fishing boat and one sail boat. But I too, constantly shop for good deals on boats.
If you aren't taking out loans on them or making huge storage payments then your problem isn't so bad. If one entire dock at your marina is dedicated to your addiction, you do need help.

Re: I CONFESS IM A BOATAHOLIC
That doesn't sounds like a problem to me! However as my better half informs me I might not be the one most qualified to make a diagnosis here...

We can fully appreciate your condition. Do you count all boats when determining how bad one's condition is, including tenders? Since we're a couple, can we split the number in half so we don't look as bad?
Ok, we're addicts, but we don't want to be cured. So, there....lol

Re: I CONFESS IM A BOATAHOLIC
I can only imagine when we gather in a boataholic meeting. Bet some more boats are bought.
Wifey B: hehe.....sort of like a sex addicts anonymous meeting? Does anyone think introducing a bunch of sex addicts is going to work out well? Well, we're boataholic's but always interested in the next one.
Hubby B: Ok, have four, but looking for one. As to tenders. oops. 7. But they make good toys around home too. And we have racks in the garage so the ones not in use are stacked and only take one space. Plus a small lift to move them around.

A friend of mine has about 7, but I don't think
he's aware of that.

Re: I CONFESS IM A BOATAHOLIC
Ooh, "a small lift to move them around". That's what I need!
Yes, I am a boataholic. My husband had one 14' aluminum fishing boat, plus a 12' jonboat when we met. I had a sailboat, tender, and kayak. Now...well, let's just say they are multiplying like bunnies, it seems. We've sold two and added more than I want to count right now

Re: I CONFESS IM A BOATAHOLIC
I just sold one, so I am down to a cutter and its tender. I feel strangely sad. But I will get over it by putting a new dodger on my cutter.

Yes, they all count. Kayak, Jet Ski. Amphibeans. Air boats. If it floats and can go on water then it counts.
You're one of us. I have you down for 6.

Re: I CONFESS IM A BOATAHOLIC
I know most people in the world do not have boats, but I can't imagine life without one. I'm 43 and have had one for 31 years and before that my relatives had them.
Wifey B: I'm only 34 and have only had them since I met him and he corrupted me and turned me into an addict, constantly feeding me more boats and water. So for me, only 12 years. Was 21 when we met, 22 when we married and first day home from our honeymoon we were on the water boating.

Re: I CONFESS IM A BOATAHOLIC
Welcome aboard!
Why do we do it?
I have friends and relatives that don't have boats. How do they do it? I can't imagine my world without a boat.
A fishing analogy, "I'm hooked."
