What kind of feedback are you looking for? How far south? I've never used them but see them on the bay all of the time and they are located in the marina where I keep my boat. As for pricing, they seem high. Many insurance policies contain towing coverage so joining is not always practical. The few times I found myself without propulsion I simply sailed in. It is a bit of trouble getting down the channel in all of the traffic but...

I have used them here in VA and MD. That is only two times once each. I try not to need them. I know the guys in the lower Chesapeake so it's hard to not say nice things other than they showed up when I called them and folks around here think well of them just as people they know. The one I used in MD that was quite good too. If you are not a member then the rates can be pretty steep. BoatUs and Seatow compete on price. BoatUs has a few other less premium levels of service. You need to study the fine print with both agreements.

I would check both the BoatUS and Seatow web sites to see where they have locations. All these locations for both companies are independent contractors. They just share a rate structure and referral system. They both set standards for operation and qualifications. This is not an easy profession to be in.

I subscribe to the Tow Boat US service and have used them twice here in South Texas. First time was about 25nm northeast of Galveston on the ICW. A unit came out of Clear Lake I believe .... glad I didn't have to pay the bill for that one.

Second time was near Port Aransas and it took only 20 minutes for arrival. They answered my first radio hail.

FWIW - I'm very happy with Tow Boat US here. But I may be wasting your time since you asked about Sea Tow....
