Hi There - Anyone Know About the 1994 Dean 40 ?

I am looking for a blue water catamaran which is comfortable, well built and very safe on the open ocean. I plan on living on it for about 2-3 years maybe more if I really enjoy it.

I am looking at buying a Dean 40 1994. Has anyone owned this model of boat. What does she sail like and does it slap much. With the main sail leaning aft does it lift the front of the boat much, does the asymmetrical hulls make any different. Is there any issues structural mostly that I should be award of with this boat.

Thanks
Don

Aloha and welcome aboard!
I can't answer your question but I'm certain there is someone here who might be able to. You can try a search in the search link after my signature or a post in the appropriate area under "Discussion Board" here on the forum.
kind regards,

Hey Don, welcome to the forum.
You may consider posting an add in our Classified forum " Considering Buying a Dean 40 1994, Any Thoughts"
or something like that.
Good luck.
