Hi! Newbie here in Texas.

I have always loved the water and dreamed of owning a beach house one day. My husband has always loved boats. We compromised and decided that if we bought a boat big enough to live on that it would satisfy both of us. We have just purchased a 60' Chris Craft that is currently docked at Pelican Rest Marina in Galveston, only an hour away from our current home. We will become full liveaboards in September. The two of us, our two dogs and cat. Should be VERY interesting. I am new to everything and have so much to learn but am very excited about this new journey. Will be spending lots of time here, reading, learning and asking questions. Thanks in advance to everyone for their advice, input and support!

Re: Hi! Newbie here in Texas.

My humble opinion is that we can always use a few more Texans here.

we're outnumbered, as usual.
