Hi, New member Jim from Ct

Thank you Nigel, for the welcome.
I know this is'nt a boat issue but I Just found out my son is finally coming home. JJ is a US Marine and i havent seen him in a year, after a week at home he ships out to Korea. I was hoping when he gets out we can go sailing.

Re: Hi, New member Jim from Ct

Welcome, Jim, and a big thanks to your son for his service. I would think many people in CT are pulling their boats for the winter season, but maybe you can call one of the yacht clubs in your area. Maybe a member of theirs would be willing to take you two out for a spin on the water. It looks like the Thames Yacht Club has an active cruising program so that could be one place to start.

Welcome aboard from another Jim. Thank your son for his service and I hope you get a sail in before the snow flies.
