Hi From South Florida

Hi !

We are just moving down to South Florida from New Jersey ! (North Miami).

We definitively looks for great sailing in the area. In a few weeks we will start looking for a boat and a marina. We are thinking about a 27 feet sailboat, like the Catalina but we are open to all advises

Our sail program is quiet regular, we usually board on Friday and come back on Sunday night. We did that many years when we were in Europe and we hope to do the same here in Florida !

Chris

Hi Chris, Welcome, You picked a great place to cruise out of. Lots of good destinations.
The wife and I spent 12 years in east central Fl. Just inside Ponce Inlet. Moved to west coast (Ca.) to be closer to kids and grand kids. Much colder water here. Still like the fishing though. Enjoy your new area and let us know what adventures you get into.

Welcome aboard! Since you'll be owning a sailboat and living in Miami, get to know Brooks Jones at Sailing Services. He is your go to guy for help with all those strings, wires and sticks you find on sailboats.

Lucky you, enjoy yourselves, I for one would like to know more how you feel about the move and boat purchase after a little time has passed. It looks like you're moving to an area with good opportunities. Kind Regards, Lou

Where Sailors Belong!. We sail out of there and it really is the best place if you want to head off quickly.

Maijipo,

CGSC is a working man's club with some real sailors. Great comaraderie.

They sometimes sell boats, they inherited for the unpaid mooring fees, very cheaply.
