Hi From Italy!!

Hi,
I'm new on this forum.
I'm from Italy and I hope to contribute help people with information on my area, ligurian sea, tirrenian sea and generally mediterranean.
I'm now searching a new old boat, for cruising in the next years, in the past I had for 12 years an Hedoniste 44, steel project of Peter Ibold.
A real blue water cruising with I had sailing in aegean sea.

Thanks at all
Marco

Hi!

I have not only an Italian boat as I have been sailing, on the last years, from Italy, to Greece and Turkey.

yes, from La Spezia are 80 nm and the isle have many little bay and harbour for mooring and swimming in summer.
In 1 week is a quite and funny cruise.
Same distance for Corse Island, his west coast is a paradise for sailing, but for the complete round you need min. 2 week.

Re: Hi From Italy!!

that's awesome! I visited Elba a few years ago by ferry, and vowed I would have to sail back at some point in the future on my own boat!

What was the name of your Hedoniste 44 and where might it be berthed now as they are quite rare. I have one in the UK

Re: Hi From Italy!!

Hi Marco,

I am hoping to work my way up from Southern Italy in the next few weeks and suspect with the time available I will ultimately make it to La Spezia before I have to return to the UK. Do you have any suggestions for long term mooring around La Spezia I suspect I won't get back until early next year so would be looking for a berth for up to 6 months.

Thanks in advance.

Mark.
