Hi from an old liveaboard fishing trawler!

To introduce myself and look for possible crew mates! I and my 5 year old daughter have an 18 meter converted fishing boat that we live aboard and currently use for charters in Spain. We are looking for a partnership that would like to share the boat with us as she is a little too big for me to manage / maintain alone - though currently in fantastic condition (oak planks on oak frames, built in denmark in 1958). Any offers considered

Hello and Welcome Aboard CF!

I have a few suggestions for you.

1. Go to your CF profile and do the following:

A. Post something about yourself. You can create an "About Me" page. If you have not seen one of these with content yet, simply click my avatar and look at mine as an example.

B. Create an album in your profile and upload photos of your boat into the album. Show her off!she may be an old Woody, but some of us like em that way.

You can find a good video on YouTube that shows how to upload photos.

C. Edit your profile to indicate you are in Spain. This will show up under your avatar each time you post opinion cf.

D. Use a photo of you or your boat as your avatar.

2. Create a "boat for sale (partnership)" post and post that to the classified forum here on CF. include many good photos of the boat and details about it etc.

Good luck!

Welcome aboard, Rosenkilde,

Steady gave you so many good ideas, I have none to add. Good luck with finding a partner or partners.

Rosenkilda,

Another thought or idea: you could use your forum signature to mention you are looking for boat partners in Spain. That would then be seen at the bottom of any posts you make. The signature can be edited as needed from your user CP (your personal settings). The signature is limited to three lines. Look to NOELEX77 (another member) for an example of how it can be used. Mine mentions my interest in traditional boats. People do notice the signatures. Yours could suggest the read your profile for more info.
