I'm from New Zealand, living in London.

I think the last time I sailed was about twenty years ago, when I was nine. I loved it... but somehow, didn't keep at it.

Now I am interested in cruising as an adventurous and (perhaps) eco-friendly way to see the world... as long as I can get over my terrible sea sickness.

Welcome aboard! There are several new medications out there now for seasickness. I think you could do a search on this forum and find some discussion.

Welcome. As you may have noticed, there is actually a current thread on precisely that topic. And if all else fails, its always good to remember that Admiral Nelson was also a sufferer of sea-sickness.
