The more I watch your videos the more I’m convinced that you’ll succeed spectacularly. I definitely agree with your decision to NOT use a common rail engine but the hybrid/ electric and electronic side of things sounds complex, lucky you have an electrician in the team.
The planning is very well done indeed, I’ve never gone into building my own boats (2) with anything like your level of forward thinking.

Re: Hi everyone, we're building a boat!

Thanks for watching and subscribing! While we hope to make a bit for the cruising kitty on YouTube, we greatly appreciate everyone who watches and comments, but the videos are also being made for some other reasons as well.
1. To let the boating community know some of what we have investigated i.e., some of the companies we are working with that aren't well known and might save others cruisers money.
2. This is our dream and we want to share it, and this also gives us a record of our journeys.
As for asking people to watch rather than posting here also means people can get lots of information quickly. The amount of information being disseminated in the videos is way too much for me to post here. My point in coming here is to talk about what we are doing, which I have been doing. Inviting people to watch is secondary, and very little of what I've posted.
I've been happy reading posts and learning from all of you, so I wanted to share too!

Ignore curmudgeons and if you make a few bucks out of the exercise good luck to you.
