Smile Hi Everyone

I am a brand new member of the Forum. My name is Dave Garrett and I am a 100 ton USCG licensed Captain (now retired). My current boat is a Pearson 365 Ketch called PEGASUS, and I sail her around the keys and Biscayne Bay.

So far, I don't know my way around the forum, but my current interest is in Diesel repair, and most marine maintenance problems.

The forum membership seems to be from all over the world.. I am located in Coconut Grove, Fl. and woul enjoy meeting any local Forum sailors and others heading this way.
Cheers,
Dave Garrett

Re: Hi Everyone

Welcome aboard! We spent a few days at the Dinner Key Marina at the Old Pan Am base in Coconut Grove in our trawler a couple of years ago. We really enjoyed it, it is a beautiful area with lots of good cruising nearby.

Re: Hi Everyone

Welcome Dave. I proposed to my wife while we were anchored in Biscayne Bay. I figured she would have to say yes because she can't swim! And I was right!
Cheers.

G'day and welcome also.
Great to know we've got another well qualified sailor we can ask questioned of! Sail safe and enjoy.
