Welcome aboard, Fred.

It would probably help you out in the long run. If you would added some more info to your profile. Like where you're from and all.

That would help one of our forum members. Who might be closest to you with any information? Should you have any?

Welcome aboard.

Are you in Palma, Mallorca?

I love that place. When I served in the US Navy. My ship would pull into that place a lot. Love that place.:cubalibre

Wow!! In 1966, it was a village. Hell!! In 1988 and 1990. It is a city!!

Yeah, those aircraft carriers are too big to sail right up to a dock there at that place. They have to anchor out at about 2 miles off shore.

And they use 50 foot motor whale boats. To bring the sailors ashore, for some "liberty" away from the ship!!

Been there. Done that!!

Aloha Uncle,
Welcome aboard! A little late in my greeting but good to have you here. I too was in Palma aboard a Navy ship in the late 80s. I found it to be a pretty wonderful place. Hope you can get sailing.
Kind Regards, JohnL
