Hi all, relative newbie here

Hi all

I've been lurking on the forum for a while and thought it's about time I joined and participated. I'm an Aussie guy, married with two kids and have always owned (Yes I know, I know!!) a power boat...But don't give up on me just yet as about a year ago I saw the light and moved to the sailing world. Have not looked back since.

We bought a Beneteau Cyclades 393 and for the last year have been loving learning to sail her and working out how everything works. My life seems to be nothing but sailing now!! Gotta love Youtube.

I'll fill out more of my profile in due course and look forward to sharing info and stories.

Cheers
Gos

Cool! Do you have a platypus?

Never mind me just jealous since I have one month till the boat gets hauled out of the ice.

Good on you mate. Keep sailing! the fish market is one of my favorite places to over indulge.

OH, BTW "Tetepare", no platypus but a few kangaroos running around the back yard!

Hi Gos2017, Welcome to the forum. Nothing wrong with powerboats. Many of us started with one. I still have my little Sea Ray 23' Weekender sitting on a trailer in the driveway.
There's just something more soul satisfying about sailing with the wind powering your vessel. Best of luck to you and safe sailing.
