Hi all - old dream, new boat

my name is Dan, onboard s/v Covenant
I'm brand spanking new to this site, And a little nervouse. I'm hoping to make some friends and find advise. I've sailed for quite a while, but mostly short local cruises (in Maine). Now I find myself with an old dream, a new boat, and frankly I'm scared shitless (can I say that here). Thanks for reading this post. Sincerely, Dan

Hi Dan,

You got our attention. So what is it about the dream and/or boat that strikes fear into your soul? Giving up the rat race and following the dream? Wondering if you can handle the new boat? Fear that you will be ostracized and persecuted by your land loving neighbors?

Inquiring minds would like to know.
