Hi All, New to the Forum

Hi, All.

Just a quick note to say hello from sunny (?) Jacksonville, Florida. I'm new to the forum, and hope to get better acquainted as time moves on. My wife and I are currently searching for a motorsailer or ketch in the 40 -50 foot range which we can work on and use on weekends and vacations for the next five years or so, until we can move aboard full-time. Her mother, in her early 80's, lives with us now, so moving abaord immediately would not be possible, so we are looking for something we can do restorative work on and cruise locally on. By locally, I mean probably from the Carolinas down to the Keys, and up an d down the ICW.

Well, enough blabbering, see you in the posts.

Hi Tony and welcome to cruisers forum.

Sounds like you have a dream and a plan - good to have both. I too am very partial to motorsailers. Especially with big pilothouse windows and a nice view of the beach!

Plenty to do and see around here. Enjoy the forum.

Aloha Tony,
40 to 50 is a lot of boat. Welcome aboard!
We're all a bit opinionated. Well, at least I am.
Kind regards,
JohnL
