Hi all! Currently boatless. Looking to liveaboard in the next year

I am 48. I currently live in MA.

I owned a Catalina 25 for a few years. Sailed my ass off in Narragansett Bay.
Sold her this past fall.

My youngest child is entering her Sr year of high school in the fall.

I have started doing research towards the goal of buying a 40 footer and heading south to liveaboard next summer.

A lot to learn and figure out. But I am excited for the journey!

I highly recommend the Jeanneau SO409 as your 40-footer liveaboard... but, I'm biased since I'm a proud owner of an SO409. 11.99 meters, which is 39.3 feet. LOA is slightly over 40-feet, I believe. I could totally see myself living on her
