Can anyone help with
advice or any information on crossing the 'Quoin Channel' on the Northern tip of Mauritius. My Son and three other homeless looking
men are rowing from Geraldton WA to Grand Baie. I estimate they have 3 -4 weeks to reach the channel and the
charts show rip tides with the
current 2-5 Kn. Their average speed is about 2.5 kns. The
boat is called 'Goldie' and is well equipped with Starlink and Yellow Brick
tracking. The row is in aid of Parkinsons disease
research and ocean
research, sampling etc. All info on the website IOR23.com. They have passed the halfway mark with the only setback loosing the poo bucket over the side! Any help would be more than gratefully appreciated.
