Hi all,

I'm currently making plans to start my sailing career next spring with the purchase of a small sailboat. I have zero experience but will be reading a lot on the topic and watching educational videos a lot in the meantime. My intention is to eventually cross the Atlantic, through the Panama canal and cross the Pacific. I intend to spend most of my time in the west Pacific, Japan in particular as I speak the language and have friends there having lived there previously.
