Hello to all. In early planning stage.

Hello!
My wife and I have come to the conclusion that we want to ditch living on land and go to a live-aboard life.
I have purchased several books on the subject and we are doing our research.
We have located a vessel (twin diesel steel hull) and are in the process of readying our home of the past 22 years for sale. We are in our early 50's and are up to the task.

I do not believe I have ever had the desire and zeal to do anything quite like this at any time before in my life!

several we have talked to think we are crazy. Many more are very encouraging and have said "go for it"!
I grew up on the shores of Lake Michigan and we owned boats although small. We are now In the middle of Tennessee close to the TVA lakes.
Will keep everyone posted as to our progress.
